Communication during The Governors Honors Academy

​Communication During The Governor’s Honors Academy Over the years, we have found electronic communication devices to be a distraction during the Governor’s Honors Academy. Therefore, GHA participants are not allowed to have any electronic communication device during the day. They will be able to communicate via cell phone and texting after they have returned to University Housing in the evening.

If you have an emergency and need to contact your student during the Governor’s Honors Academy, please call Shaylee Lamoreaux at 435.592.0026

You may communicate with your student during GHA via email by e-mailing [email protected]. E-mails will be printed off and delivered each morning during announcements.

We will distribute mail and messages to students every morning before the day starts. Also, during the Academy, if you’d like to see what your student is participating in, please go to "GHA Days" on this website. We will update this page daily.
