Hi friends! My name is Gavin Cox and I’m from the miniscule and peculiar town of Fairview, Utah. I was a GHA participant in 2016, a counselor in 2020, and for the past two years I’ve been an assistant director! I’m heading into my senior year at Southern Utah University as a Finance major and I’m loving my time here. I also have the incredible opportunity of being a Presidential Ambassador where I get to meet high schoolers from across Utah and show them how amazing SUU is. I am super passionate about music and love playing guitar, singing, and going to concerts. If there was one word I would use to describe myself it would be vivacious. One of my favorite things to do is watch bad reality T.V. shows with my friends. My talents and hobbies include: training carrier pigeons to do aerial acrobatics, drinking milk, petting medium-size dogs, eating chocolate ice cream, and making folks giggle. I’m so pumped to hang out with you this summer and promise that it’ll be a hoot and a half. Get ready for 10 days full of jokes, goofs, high jinks, laughter, and other oddities. See you soon!

Linzy Flinders
Hey y’all! I’m Linzy Flinders and I’m from Mt. Pleasant, UT but spent most of my childhood days in good ole Beaver, UT and even froze for a year in Wyoming. I graduated from North Sanpete High School and played every sport I could! I love running, playing volleyball, and basketball, but even more than sports I love the outdoors. I grew up duck hunting, riding horses through the woods, and adventuring in the mountains. SUU is the best school ever because it allows me to still do all the things I love while gaining an awesome education! I am currently a junior at SUU and plan to major in Nutrition and minor in Psychology. One day I hope to help people love food like I do! I love meeting and learning from new people so I can’t wait for GHA and all the adventures we will go on this summer!

Hey there! My name is Bryant Pace and I am from the little ol' town of Loa, UT (bonus points if you know where that is!) I graduated from Wayne High School in 2019 and during my high school time, I played every sport available to me. I was the football and track and field captain and I continue to love being outdoors in every capacity. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. Upon returning home from my mission, I married my high school sweetheart and we moved to Cedar City so that I could study Biology/Pre-Med with a Chemistry minor at SUU! I am scheduled to graduate from this incredible university this upcoming fall and I am so grateful for the experiences and opportunities that SUU has provided me. These experiences, teachers, classes, and peers have helped prepare me to move to the next step of becoming a physician so that I can make an impact on the lives of others! I am so excited to meet you all and share the love that I have for this university!
