Today we got to experience something that to me was very insightful and humbled me and I hope that with the topic “build you legacy” is something that you will go home and start talking about what legacy you want to build for your family and friends. I hope that this has opened your mind to go talk to the elderly and learn from them and get to know their legacy.
Parents... today we experienced legacy night! We traveled to two of our nursing homes (Beehive & Stonehenge). Once we arrived we were welcomed by some and not so much by others but the ones that did share I know left an impact on our students. Our legacy starts now!!! I have attached the legacy book that was given to our participants to give to the patients at theses homes. We encouraged them to write in this book and give it to their loved ones. I challenge the students to take their book they were given and get to know someone that they love so their legacy will stay with them forever!

Energizer
Every morning we go through the schedule, tell a joke as well as an energizer. This is just to wake everyone up. Most energizers are games that everyone is involved. Today in particular it was counselor Christian Parkinson to do the energizer, with his background he decided to teach everyone a dance. The student loved it and they even had a dance off with some of the football players that were walking on the field. It has been a fun day having them dance to BABY SHARK!!!
